I have a h22a in a eg and today I was driving it to work and the check engine light came on. I thought nothing of it and it shut off when I turn the car off. After about 30 mins I went to drive it the check light was still off but the car started to bog in the lower rpm. I drove it home and it parked it with the car on. I press the gas and it started to bog and then it died on me. After it died white smoke came out of the intake filter. I tried to start it up but it won't start and when it does it bogs and dies again. The only thing that I have done to it before was I engine degreased it and watered it down with the hose but after I hosed it down I let it dry for a bit and took it out for a spin and it was okay and I also sprayed that k&n filter kit on it with the cleaning solution and oil recharger kit. Someone help me plz.

 

i was wondering how did you do your wiring in the car from the motor

 

Not to sure about the wiring cuz someone did that for me but back to the car problem, the car starts now but when I gas it WOT it bogs and chokes. When I slighty gas it, it revs up fine.

 

well u obviously got something wet( how do u know there arent any exposed wires in the harness since u didnt swap it??) or u just got some of the ignition system wet like( dizzy,wires) .. the engine light was probably a misfire code

 

pop the distributor cap off. i have a feeling its wet inside...
