Default Y80: speed increases, car sits.

Just replaced main bearings, rod bearings, rings, and crank seals. Rebuilt the tranny 5,000 mi ago. Engine runs fine, but as soon as I shifted to take it out for the break-in, I go nowhere.

I thought it was the clutch not engaging or a shift linkage issue, but the speedometer reads accurately in all gears. It just... doesn't move.

Axles are in, fluid is full, tranny was untouched and operational prior to the block overhaul.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

let me clarify something
so when you pedal the gas
your car just sit there but the speedometer revs up?

if speedometer reads
VSS works
Differential revs up

BUT your axle won't rotate??? probably a snapped axle??

Yeh, good guess, I pulled the passenger axle out of the diff & the teeth are gone from the first half of the shaft so it just pops right out. But the other axle and intermediate shaft are fine, so I guess it's time to interrogate the LSD...

Anyway, I'm surprised I didn't catch this on the tear-down, thanks for the suggestion!
