I have the d15 stock motor in my car right now and i want to get the vtech d16 motor but im not sure on what i need to do this. Please help

you need a complete swap i would go with a bigger engine like the b16 or b18. The motors set right in the same place you will need a wiring harness, motor mounts, transmission, and ecu if you buy a complete swap you will get everything you need expect for the motor mounts which you can get at autozone or such. But if you want to just swap engines same series motor you can use everything form the d15 you just need the man hours to do. Hopes help if not let me know what more specific you are wanting to know

Well i was thinking about a sohc turbo would be cheaper then doing a b series swap. To make sure its clear if i were to get the d16 in all i need is a motor and everything from the d15 will work for it.

 

Yeah everything will work you will be good to go so all you will need is the motor and turbo
