Default upper A-arm install

so i installed my blox camber kit today on my ef. it is advertised where i got them that it fits all 88-95 civic. i put it on, lowered the car back down and the upper arm hits the pinch weld at the inner fender. is there something i did as installer error or do i have the wrong part? help would be appreciated. thanks all.

what brand camber kit did you use? i guess i am just really confused cause several people that i have talked to said that the eg arms would work. no one said anything about modifications that would have to be made.

I would imagine the blow control arm adjust out making it longer, and that is not oem spec. I have skunk2 camber kit, and my friend has an ebay brand one. Bending or cutting the part its hittting would be easiest.

very true about not being oem spec. will probably end up bending the pinch but don't like it. just seems to me that it would weaken the weld and metal. going to see what the place that i bought it from says first. any other ideas and experiences would be apprectiated too!

i don't have experience myself but I've heard plenty of times about having to bend that lip so it doesn't hit it. its why i never wanted to install them. Don't worry i don't think you have to bend it much.

i think i would have to bend it all the way over. when i lower my car so that jack is not supporting it, the bottom of my fender is about 3-4 inches above the top of my tire. i know that 1/2" at the arm equals a lot at the fender to tire but not sure that i can get that much out of it.

i have a 91 ef2 and had to grind away the excess metal on the frame to allow my control arms to move freely up and down and it hasnt given me any problems for 2+ years since i did it...!!!

so the blox racing camber kit will not work on an ef. took the suggestion and folded over the metal that the upper arm was hitting. kit allowed my arm to go up but it is not giving any room for travel. So just wanted all to know that they do not work. Also put some enkei rpf1's on the ef and they look horrible. good thing they are not mine. they will be coming off as soon as i get my wheels here
