hey im swapping out my interior (pulling out the dash) and have been having some wiring issues i have tracked it down to the dash harness.

so i was just gonna replace the whole harness ( the one that runs behind the dash to the 3 ecu plugs and up to the passenger side headlight). my car has power everything and is manual. are any of these harnesses interchangeable?

like can i use a a obd1 gsr dash harness? as long as its a manual and has all power options? or what about one for an automatic civic with all power options and a sunroof?

can anyone help me with this?

 

i dont see why an auto ex dash harness would be different...

 

well i dont either but i dont want to spend a 100 dollars on buying one and then it be wrong so thats why im trying to see if anyone knows for sure or not

dont get the auto harness it has an extra plug for the gauge cluster that will confuse you. Can you just repair your old one. If not just go to the JY and get one.

 

The automatic harness is different, you can use it, but you will need to modify it so the car will start. thanks everyone for the replies, thats exactly what i was looking for.

i dont want to have to modify anything cause im no wiring expert i want one that will just drop in.

so i will just stick to looking for a manual firewall/dash harness
