I have a Crx HF that on slight occasion will be difficult to put in reverse and first. It does it whenever it wants, not a huge headache.
I am pulling it out to replace the input bearing and figure I could address that situation too.
I'm unsure what parts to replace (please just parts and tips, none of the 'don't do it' blah blah blah)

^^ in that link its stating a reverse gear. I am aware reverse and 1st are the same gear, so I'm wondering if I need to replace that gear, or do I need to replace a synchro of some sort?
Thanks,
Shane

1st and reverse are different gears.
Inspect you 1-2 shifter fork and the fricition dampers for first and second gears on the countershaft.

Wow, I guess I had misconecption this entire time, thanks for clearing that up. First time digging in a transmission. The parts you listed to inspect that would be for reverse too, right? Thanks.
On a side note, Mista Bone are you the same person on Hondacivicwagon.com? I think I see your name pop up occasionally and people commenting (good) about you.
