I got this ecu when it came with the car and need some help. it is programmed for 8,000 rpm range, programmed that the car has intake and exhaust on it. also has a new o2 sensor wired directly to the ecu. will this create more horsepower in my set up and how would i know if everything is wired right. I have a 1999 honda civic obd2 with a conversion to obd1. please let me know thanks

um, if your car runs fine and there's no check engine light, then why are you fukking with your ECU? If it's not broke, don't fix it.

possible explanation!

ECU re-flashed, speed limiter removed, thus 8000 rpm,
headers and exhaust = a few more hp,
things were wired like an idiot, but still works
no CEL = be happy about it
