Default ECU

U guys know if i should've reset my ECU after installing an intake? I used to get a check engine light almost everytime the car was running anyway because of what the shop said was a bad O2 sensor, i found the light is coming on more often after installing the SMF, u think resetting the ECU will help with that at all?

Check the codes then reset it. What yr is your car?? If you had a CEL and fixed the problem you should have reset it then IMO. But I would reset it after any mods. If you don't no biggy.

if your car is an obd2 you should reset your ecu weekly. For example with an intake, your computer will "learn" that you have more airflow and try to compensate for it. Any time you do an engine mod you should reset the ecu so it can "relearn" with the new mod. this applies to obd1 and obd2, but obd2 needs to be reset periodically.
