Default runs in clear coat

i have tons of runs in my second coat of clear(first was fine), can i sand the area with the runs and re-clear it..or do i have to sand and reapply base coat?

just wet sand it with a high grit sandpaper then buff it. should be good. well, it turned out fine for me.

yea wet sand them...i do a razor blade trick with some tape but thats how i do it.

razor blade trick ftw.

Sand down one side of a razor blade, then flip it over and drag it accross the "run" it's shave off the clear, then sand flat and buff that ish.

razor blade trick works for some people, but not everyone. Me personally, I'd wet sand the area, then just re clear it so that the area is smooth. Besides, it doesn't take long for clear to dry anyways. This time, shoot a light coat, then go a little heavier, cause with the light coat, the heavier coat has something to stick to
