Missfire help

Default Missfire help

I have a 90 civic hatch si. Im having a miss under load. I replaced the plug wires with oe honda. Tried a coil but didnt fix it. New ngk plugs.Any ideas?

Check you coolant temp sensor, O2 sensor, ensure that your timing is correct, check your pcv valve (oil congestion in the combustion chamber lowers octane rating which allows for premature combustion, i.e. missing), also clean you MAF sensor with some carbon based, non-polar cleanser.

no recent motor work. Where is the MAF?(d16a6).

It's on the Throttle body on the side closest to the firewall. Its a black plug. clean it from the inside of the TB.
