Default 1992 Accord Window Regulator (Replacement?)

My driver's side window has been having issues rolling all the way down/staying in the track when rolled up for some time now, but today for whatever reason it became extremely worse. I went to roll it up at work this morning and the window is completely crooked, almost diagonal. I took it home, got the door panel off and started messing with it when I heard a thud and looked down, I now see a random bolt laying around from what I'm assuming is the lower bracket part of the Window Regulator. Now, I'm noticing that the assembly for the 92 is different from the newer models, so the guides I've been looking at are completely useless for me.

Anyone have this or a similar issue? I've only watched as someone installed a new window, not repair the part or install a regulator. I could use some advice. Also, I would prefer to do it myself since my valve gasket is going, and I have to replace when I get paid next week.

Thanks anyway, I got it eventually. My next question is, is the Window Regulator considered the X bracket as well? I guess I'll do some searching, but the problem was that the Lower left hand portion of the X bracket was bent, in addition, the right side prong had popped out of the rubber grip for the lower - shaped bracket that I'm assuming elevated the front side of the window, causing the whole thing to botch up. Will keep posting with resolutions for other members that may have this problem someday.

Thanks Concord,
I'm having problems with my electric windows on my '92 LX as well, so I'll be following this thread.

So after locating some parts online, I've found the prices for a window regulator range from about $40-$70. Not sure what the part would cost OEM but I plan on buying it next Thursday. Currently, just driving without the window praying for no rain. Ha! Maybe I'll get a payday loan and go about it that way. Anyhow, overall it took me about an hour and a half to get the whole thing out of the door.

Since the X bracket was bent, and the prongs out of the rubber guiders, I decided the part could not be repaired and be expected to run properly. The window regulator on these year models is not the regular I shaped regulator w/motor, it is instead an X shaped bracket that connects to the window motor through what appears to be a crank system. The spring-loaded circle seems to be a very delicate part and upon further inspection, it broke as well. Might recommend to get this installed, I'm going to go to Napa if I can get a payday loan sooner, and get some advice from them on whether to do it myself, or take the part to the shop. Will update.
