ok so i have a greddy header and ws2 exhaust and i was putting it next to my car. i realized that there still will not be a place for a cat since i have a dx hatch. i tried to search on the subject but i couldnt find anything. what should i do??? do i need to cut one of the pipes to make a place for the catalytic converter. sorry confused and need to get it on soon because my exhaust manifold has a crack.

 

bump for help. was i supposed to get an ex catback instead? can i get a cat and get some more pipe added to make it the same length?????

 

if you bought a catback for a hx then you will need one for a dx b/c the cat is placed in a different location on the hx as opposed to any other model, then the header will fit or you can take it to an exhaust place and have them cut the pipe and re-weld on the bracket

 

the problem is that the exhaust manifold includes the cat on ex and lx models. now i have a header which deletes the cat. so even though i hate to mess up a new exhaust i have decided to go ahead and shorten one of the pipes so i can install a cat. thanks for the response speedoking.
