How do I remove my airbags
follow the Helms manual... NOTE that all Airbag system wiring/connectors are YELLOW
1) disconnect battery
2) remove cover on sides of steering wheel
3) disconnect airbag harness on side/underside of steering wheel
4) using a Torx 30 Bit, (I think right size) remove a screw on each side.
5) lift airbag assembly (center section of steerign wheel) out.
6) be careful to move slowly so you do NOT pull any wires/connectors out.
7) done.

how about the passenger side?? the steering wheel one is easy but i'm trying to get out the passenger side to save weight as there isn't even a passenger seat. i tried to get it out tonight and failed, that bitch is really deep in there. so how bout some step by step for that one??? TIA
im not exactly sure how it is set up on a civic but in know in a teg you can access it by taking the glove box out, so if you can get in down there, you should be able to unplug the conector and pull the couple of nuts holding it in
