Default exhaust system?

what is the best sounds system for your buck
im thinking about getting the greddy spectrum for my eg.

just one question, does the exhaust system come with a cat converter or do i have to stay with my stock cat?

the ones that are for sale for 500-600 do they come with a high flow cat converters...
i have been looking at alot of them and it seems like it does...but i just want to make sure

my car failed smog and now i need a NEW cat...i dont want to spent $500 just for a cat

help me out with some info

a cat back system comes with NO cat. just buy a hi flow and call it a day. as for your exhaust choice i like the apexi WS2 alot... alot. your choice though.

i dont want to buy a new cat, is there any exhaust system out there that comes with a high flo cat converter...help pls

if not any suggestions on the high flow cat...im gonna be running the greddy exhaust system with stock headers.

lol i figured...sorry im burnt out of stress...lol

well im gonna need a new catalytic converter...any suggestions if i should run the OEM cat...
or switch to a high flow after market cat...(any suggestions on the brand)

which is better and why...

by the way i have a 93 honda civic hatch...

you are going to want to find a stock one to pass smog. most bolt-on after market converters will not pass smog in CA.

damn...so im gonna get pinned with 750 for the cat converter...SOB
so no after market cat will pass california smog...
what about pace maker and obx...will they still pass smog...i heard they are illegal now in cali...any other brands...pls send me link to a website...thx

you can maybe get away with a cheap replacement cat from a local parts store (autozone, murray's, o reily's, etc) just so you can pass the test. They are way cheaper than an oem from honda. Then switch it out for a high flow cat once you get squared away...sucks to live in cali <----regarding the law, of course

Just get an aftermarket replacement. A high flow one will usually fail smog.
