ok i just parked my car running and it started to overheat, needle was at 75% instead of 50%

but when i start to drive it or am cruising it doesnt overheat
the guy i bought it from said it is the overflow bottle which is hommade(tube from radiator going to 16oz bottle)
could it be that or no, the radiator is brand new

and once i was crusing on the highway and turned on my heat the car starts bogging and engine missed, almost like car goes into limp, i turned heat off bogging went away, turned it on again and started bogging, somewhat like running rich
why is it doing that, heat works fine
but i cant use it now
bogging at about 3300rpm

and car runs fine and comp. numbers are good exept when heat is on and the overheating issue


this is my dd, soon to be boosted so i want to get all the imperfections out before it goes under the knife

 

Is the CEL ON?

Check whether the radiator fan runs when the engine is hot and also bleed the cooling system of possible trapped air.

and yes fan turns on, its not oem but i think a slim fan, and i bled the c ooling this happend after

 

Does the CEL work? It should turn on for 2 seconds and then off with the key in ON(II).

 

yeah it works i just fixed my o2 sensor cel was on now off

 

strange issue... maybe check your coolant level, and look into a thermostat?
