help how do i paint my side moldings

help how do i paint my side moldings do i have to take off the door panels to be able to take out the side moldings?

leave them on and tape off the rest and paint it from there

take off the door panels and then unclip the moldings from the door...it'll look cleaner with u painting the moldings off, plus you can clean the grove that the moldings go onto

taking moldings off is a bitch, if it were me and i had to do it again id just leave them on the car

they are a bit of a PITA, but it looks so much better you take them off... no chance of hard lines from the tape....
