hard start/ slight miss
hey i have a d16a6 in my 89 crx si. and every morning when i go to start it it takes a little while for it to fire up just cranks for like 5 seconds. and when it does fire up it stumbles for a sec and then it's fine. it only does this when the car is cold, if i cranked it up in the morning and let it run 5 seconds then shut it off and turn it back on it starts back up perfectly fine and normal. also when my car is idling weather cold or warm it has a realy slight miss that you can hear through the exhaust tone. the miss is so slight if you look at the rpm neddle you can't see it moving at all from the miss but you can hear it through the exhaust just a put------put,put--put---------put sound randomly. if im driving at all you can not feel any hesitation or missing at all it's purely on at idle. can anyone think of what my problem might be with this stuff.
thanks i guess lol..... so i figured out how it can get around the hard start in the morning usually it would be cranking for a good five seconds. but if i turn the key to the on position for a second to get fuel in the rail i guess before i crank it it starts right up. a guy on another reccomended me to try this and he said if it works then i have low fuel pressure for some reason. why would i have low fuel pressure?
