Z6 pressure max before head lift.
What is the max boost a stock set of headstuds can achieve before they stretch, and lift the head?
I have heard 11+PSI, I have heard 15PSI, I have heard 9PSI.
I'm looking to hopefully run 10PSI on OEM studs.
Engine plans on coming out this fall to be worked on, so I'm not worried about buying new studs yet.
I'm just inquiring as t how much boost the stock head will take safely before it lifts.
Thanks!

Cylinder pressure NOT Boost pressure is what you need to be concerned with. Keep the timing safe and it should be fine if its a healthy motor to begin with. My Z6 was daily driven on 15lbs w/ t3/t4 50trim car was trapping 117 mph for almost 2 years now. Car has seen 18 psi on multiple occassions. Tuned on crome free, timing was 9-10 degrees for 15lbs and up. Good Luck.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that it is on a Greddy 15g turbo, and w/o upgrading to ARP, I wouldn't ever go above 10PSI.
I was just wondering if I put 10PSI to it, if it would lift the head, as I have heard conflicting stories.
Thanks fo the clarification guys!!
