I had a bad luck last week... Comming back from a trip, everything was fine and then the car felt slowdown by it self for 1-2 sec... It felt like I had hit something on the road... Then after 5 mins, I started hearing weird noise like a water pump that was failling out! So I pull over and pop the hood and find out that my A/c pulley tensionor had felt down... It was sitting on top of my crank pulley... Really bad...
Then after taking out pulley and broken nut, cut the a/c stap, everything looking fine so I start back the engine, and notice there was a little wabble on the crank pulley... So the next day I switch the crank pulley for an other one and the wabble is still there...
I guess my crank probably take the shot... Or could I have get lucky and it's only the crank's pulley nuts? I did 120 miles since then and this morning I check the vtec solenoid filter for metal residu but there was none...
If the crank is bend, can it be fix or I'll have to change for an other one? Is it possible to mesure the crank properly without taking out the block from the car?
This is bad....

I would be very surprised if you could drive your car 120 miles with a bent crank shaft, also not sure how it would get bent just because an idler pulley fell off, but I guess anything is possible.
Any good mechanic should be able to tell if it is bent or not without pulling it out. 94

What signs should I looked for for a bend crank... It's not something that happen everyday...

OK, I spoke to the mechanic and he said your crank is not bent, if anything just the end if it, [end past the front bearing and seal] may have been bent and as long as it is not to bad, [noticeable vibration] don't worry about it, keep an eye on any belts for ware on the sides of the belts, if none don't worry about it, it is not worth "fixing", [not repairable without removing]. 94
