Looking for a 220v TIG or MIG (on a budget)

Default Looking for a 220v TIG or MIG (on a budget)

hello everyone.

i live in israel and my uncle is coming for a visit me on the 28th, so...i need to buy a welder by the 26-27th.

my budget is around $600-700

i dont mind which welder it would be mig or a dc tig (sure ill prepher a tig but i dont know if its possible to find a brand name one to fit my budget) its have to be one phase and 220v.

do you guys know a tig in that price range?
or a GOOD mig for that range?

Very good deals pop up on craigslist.org. Keep an eye out.

The Millermatic 180 (GMAW) lists for $900 but you can usually find them for ~700

I think I payed somthing like 850 for my millermatic 180 with a bottle, extra tips, and a nother spool of wire.

I got my Syncrowave 500 for $600, found it on Craigslist.

Nice!!! yeah I tryed to buy a welder off craigslist. It seems sometimes people don't want to take your money. I needed the welder right away so I had to pay for a new one. But yeah if you have a few weeks local classifieds are the way to go.

i'm actualy looking for somthing small.
i think ill try to find a miller maxstar 150 sth... but if i wont find any by the deadline what do you guys think about the THERMAL ARC 95S ???

look into the HTP 130 or 160 tig as well.

most of the issue here is that most welders are 110v and i need a 220v, also i dont really know where to look (as i said im not in the USA)

can anyone hook me up with some links to some shops in Los angles 818 AREA?
