So i have a viper 5900 alarm. the pager turns on and everything, but it seems like it won't transmit signals to my alarm brain anymore. before, if it would have problems with the signals or frequency, it would vibrate 3 times, but now, when it's not able to send the signal, it doesn't vibrate at all. my car still locks when i start the car and unlocks when i turn off the car, but it seems like my remote just stopped transmitting signals to my alarm brain. it has been working for over a year now, up until the other night. is there a way to re-sync the pager or something? or is the this fixable?

 

yes, i have already changed the battery in the pager. it is stil not transmitting to my alarm.

 

i have the same problem and i havent been able to fix it either i checked the grounds reprogammed the transmitter and nothing if you fix your problem please post it it would help alot

 

how did you reprogram the remote? i would like to give that a try

 

reset the antenna. unplug it for a few minutes then plug it back up and try again.

When i had this problem, i had to reprogram the remote. it is all in the manual on how to do it. basically make the remote learn the brain of the alarm all over again. very simple task, took me about 3 mins.

 

unfortunatly i dont have the manual. did u need the valet switch?
