b16a1 from an xsi
This is my first post so hello name is Mike. I have owned a del sol with the b16a3 , chipped and 'tuned' , vtec kicked in at about 3200 and it was SICK from there. I sold it because it leaked massive oil, it needed a clutch and brakes. I regret the situation and am looking for a new honda to build.
Im looking at this 96 civic with a b16a1 from an old integra xsi which was in 92-94 i think. It needs a 'valve adjustment' new oil pan, some sort of joint from the a-arm, its spray painted black, with a smile in the paint (i guess im going to have to re-spray paint it
). but it drove well. the only thing is its the vtech doesnt kick in until 6200, and my del sol basiclly activate upon touching the throttle. when the a1 does activate it pops harder than my a3 but the a3 was at vtec so quick it was on basiclly during initial acceleration sub 3000 rpms. it doesnt leak any oil other than the catch pan issue which is known going into it. it seems strong and he only wants 2000 for it. well he wanted more for it but i think i could go buy with 1800 cash and take it.
It would come with a b16a1 (integra xsi) with gsr transmission, straight body spray painted black, '01' front clip mugen grill, decent aftermarket lights, fat fives good tires, rear disk conversion, blah blah, the interior is in complete disarray and i think im still confused, also a reason he selling cheap.
It seems to be well taken care of. He ripped it a couple times (bad brakes) and I opened the hood no burning oil at all. I like the fact that its in the car already and I dont have to bullshit with a b16 install or whatever. I can get the valve adjustment, put in the rear disc, and paint it championship white or something who knows. Later I get the p28 (i think) as it has a jdm harness that is not hondata compatible 'ive read'. i know i can get it tuned replace seals maybe thow in some valve springs and a cam and it would be quick, if not fast. any how, i think hed do it if i showed him 1800 cash. i think its a good deal.

What the hell is this post even about? You want to hit "mAd VtEcH" so pick up the phone "homie". This post is just a bunch of thrown together garbage. Please retype it so we can understand what the hell your question is. Also, every "n00b" knows that hittin’ that "mAd VtAk" at 3,000 RPMs is a crock of ****, but hey, keep on pulling wheelies kid!
