Default OT: 8/28 Driving from Chicago to D.C. May I crash at your house?

After reading the positive responses to this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=260780 I am wondering the same thing.

Except, I will be driving from Illinois to Maryland...anyone along I90, I76 or I80 who'd be willing to let a fellow HT memeber crash for the night? Only thing is that I would need a secure parking spot.

That doesn't help as most ITR theifs bring a differenct ECU with them anyways to by pass the anti theft chip...

LOL! Thats Awesome. sort of like a H-T underground railroad.

You would be welcome at my place but I'm going to the beach all next week.

Mike

P.S for marathon driving i once drove 17 hours in one day. From DC to the Western tip of NC (Import Auto Salvage) and back to DC. That was a little nuts but I was picking up a new drivers side door and I didn't want to pay for shipping (would have cost more than the f'in door)

10-12 hour drive is maximum that I can do safely...

If anyone cares, ATL to K.C. is about 10-11 hours, going 15mph+ the speedlimit.

Hmmm...anyone? I don't think my lower back will allow me to drive 12 hours straight like Steve suggested.
