So I just traded my 2005 civic for the CRV. Loving the CRV, EXCEPT no ipod hook up. What do you guys do? I am so used to playing the ipod thru the aux input. Spoiled, I guess. Do I have to buy a whole new stereo? I don't even care about the CD or tape player, just want to listen to the ipod. What do you guys do?

Most OEM Honda headunits have a cd changer port in the back. Buy an iPod interface that connects to it.

I've purchased them for an 02 Audi, an 05 TSX, and an 02 Civic. All look like an external 6 disc changer to the headunit. All allowed 5 iPod playlists with specific names (VW1-VW5 for the Audi, H1-H5 for the others) to present as the first 5 discs, with the full track listing as the 6th. Look hilarious to see "track 82" show up on the display, but works fine.

Search on Crutchfield.com for these. Not the best pricing, but decent enough and great customer service and free model specific instructions if you buy from them.

Um, you route the iPod connection cable where ever you want it.

I usually do the glove box, but we ran it under the center console plastic to the storage area between the seats on the TSX. Had to cut a hole for that one though. You generally don't need to cut anything for the glove box, there's usually enough space in the back to run it.
