getting a little bit more practice in, some collector pics
Finally getting my shop close to set up, started working on some fab projects. here's a 3-1 collector for a single turbo setup. cuts arent PERFECT yet but the next one should be gapless. getting a little bit more consistent with my welds, still need to work a bit on color.
looks like im getting ~70% penetration.
heres some pics

i would weld the inside of the collector as well, doesnt look like you got too much penetration there.
if you are having trouble penetrating the metal all the way, either turn up the amps or move slower, or both. just make sure that you have enough postflow (time, not necessarily more gas flow) to make sure the weld puddle completely cools while being shielded by the argon. little color or a grey weld will not necessarily mean it's too hot, it could mean not enough gas coverage.
on my sync 200 the auto postflow never seems to be enough to give the weld a lot of color. i always have to tap the pedal to keep the postflow going...i usually do that when the timer on the machine is around 2 seconds or so.

i'll weld them to vbands pretty soon.
Looking good man , as an advise u need to give the #5 piston runner more length just to balance the air flow in between runners and u will run in the same issue in the back with piston runner #6 , u would have benefit more with a longer collector u got plenty of space.
good luck
