Default Will this work

Ok i know a guy who has a Subaru WRX (runs 10's) and i asked him if he has nos on it, he said he did but he didn't use in the engine. He said befor he races he sprays it on his intake pipe from the turbo to the throttle body. He said he freezes the whole thing. So that way the air going into the engine is litaraly ice cold. Could you really do that? Cause if it would really work i was thinking of doing a similer setup but use Co2 insted.

What do you guys think? ever seen anything like that?

i think it be more efficiant if he sprayed it on the intercooler.....people have been doin that for awhile....rally cars have water nozzles for the intercooler....sprays during the races....i tihnk sport compact car has a article on how you can make your own.....not really useful on your car......do it when you get turbo

yup i heard the same thing.....
u can freeze ur intercooler and have a nic cooler air.... but if he sprays the "N2O" into the intake piping to freeze it , its going to make its way inside the engine also and its going to combust.....
and like big pete said.. people has been doing this for a while....

ive heard and have seen people use nos to cool their engines so they would run less hot. about the intercooler piping? ive only seen it once and i dont know how efficient that is.

waste of money. if you go to big street races most of the forced induction dudes spray their engine and front end with a fire extinguisher before they run.

uhh, sounds like it might work, but hot must put some dry ice around you intake, that would keep it cold
