15x8 Volk TE37's for Type R
Anyone know if the 15x8 volks with a 205/50/15 (or 225/45/15 slick) will fit ok on a Type R? I see they make a +27 and a +45 offset. I imagine the +27 will stick outside the wheelwell considerably and the +45 will tuck in, but just how much will it tuck and is that figure too much?
I suppose I could always run a small spacer. I'm not afraid to roll my fenders either. And springs are stiff enough so the car won't roll over too much.
I'm not really looking for heresay. I'd like to find someone who has had them on the car or knows someone who has.
Thanks.
Also, what is the japanese Volk website?

I run 17x8 SSRs on my Type R (daily driving wheels) with a +48 offset (215/40/17 Toyo Proxes T1S). I have not rolled my fenders- that won't happen until the car is paid for and is racing. So I would say that it would fit based on my setup...Danielle

I'm having an issue with the 15x7(43 offset) Volks and my trailing arm in the rear. Of Course, that's with 225/45-15 Hoosier R3S03's
. The tires are huge! ...and polishing the outside of the arm under (any)cornering.
Anyone see a problem notching the trailing arm locally(denting it where the tire comes into contact)???
Good luck fitting the 8 inchers Todd

.....I was looking for some 15x7's for a long time!
I wanted something that would clear a *slightly* bigger caliper, and not rub anywhere, not need spacers, and wouldn't need to roll fenders for...
I still don't have my solution...
I'm hoping the cp035's in +34 offset will work, but finding someone witha set I can test-fit is damn near impossible!

Wow 225/45s!
I am running 15x7 Volks +43 offset on my ITR... no rubbing but I'm just using regular 205/50/15 tires. Was thinking about going 215? Will that cause any rubbing? (stock suspension)

oh yeah, and FYI:
FD rims ('93-'95 rx7tt) are 16x8 in +50mm offset and work with a 3mm spacer in the rear to clear suspension components with 215/45/16's... this brings it out to almost stock rolling diameter.
And the weight of the rims is ~12lbs.

98R-1144- The Hoosier's R3s03's are super wide when compared to other tires. The 205/50-15 is about the same width as 225 of a normal brand. This is why i'm having this rubbing problem on the rear trailing arm.
