Default 96 Civic Chip Suggestions Please!

I have an LX and not sure what motor is in it as it's at the mechanics for a bunch of BS... Anyways, I have headers, high flow cat and exhaust which has cause my O2 sensor to scream it's running to lean. I'm trying to find a chip but all I can find is those 25 dollar "increase MPG" things. What do I need!?

first you have to have your ecu socketed.
theres a few people that sell chips for you specific ecu. they can take off the rev limiter and speed limitor. ...i did this and it didnt make it faster. it just swapd a gsr motor in and then i turboed it. thats what will end up happening if you dont just sell the honda now

You can not chip a OBD2 ecu. You can only run a piggy-back system, Vafc, Safc, etc. Those are crap IMO. buy a Obd2a (seeing as your car is a 96)to Obd1 conversion harness and a OBD1 Ecu. A p06 would work fine as long as the motor is non-vtec. If the motor is vtec, you can always go with a p28 or just onvert the p06 to a vtec ecu.
