the set up is:
eagle rods (not bought again)
mahle gold series pistons 9.0 C/R (not bought again)
block-guard or not (?) (not bought again)
I have already of my last set up on B18C (darton MID sleeves):
turbo precision SC-61
snowwater water-alcohol injection
greddy intercooler 24 (around 600hp capacity)
home made intake manifold (with a victor X base) and exhaust manifold
supertech valvetrain
70mm TB
moroso accumulator
big oil radiator
MSD 6AL and coil
nology Spark Plug Wire Set
4x750cc RC + 4X1200cc RC
walbro 255 + bosch 044
AEM EMS

if the max is 10lbs, I must sleeve........ I would like the power of my last set-up, 600whp but with more torque than the B18C.

H22A7 I havent heard of that block (what year was that out of?) but I'm looking to do the same thing for my A4 open block as well. I emailed Mahle about this but have yet to get a reply and also talked to Goldeneagle about sleaving. I mentioned this to the guy I talked to and he said I would be good with just the Mahles but my goals are half of what your looking at. My max goal of 350whp with a 10-1 compression with SK2 int and tuner cams Plus my T3T4 60-1. I also think that the FM plus tune (Hondata S300 for me) would be more or less the deciding factor on this. But I'm still researching this out. I don't want to waste a perfectly good block (and good money) by being cheap.

Its a high comp accord euro-r h22 engine.Freind of mine has one in his eg,makes 400whp 290tq on 1 bar.All we did was put in a 1.25 mm headgasket and arp headstuds. We tried to go 20 psi and the rod bent after a hard 4th gear pull .Do these two things and shoot for 350whp with a good tuner.

If your tuning is on, 500whp+ shouldn't be a problem. The cylinder wall prep has to be done properly - FRM sleeving is much different than others. It's an involved process using different honing and materials.

thank you for those informations.
but specifically, for me, the ultimate power is meaningless because it can vary from one set-up to another depending on the pressure.
what pressure sleeves can bear with or without block-guard.
who already has experience with this?

FRM sleeves are used in some Porches and are as strong as other sleeves. The issue is proper honing and setup. There is a posting about H22 - Mahle Gold pistons that details a number of builds. A common problem has been improper preparation/installation.

yes, thank you everybody.

in fact, frm sleeves are strong but i don't know the reliability of the open-deck with those sleeves.
and with a block-guard, the bore goes to reduce.
if it's 0.00, it's allright: just a little honing. if it's more...
perhaps, I will take a H22 closed-deck short block and put in mahle pistons and good rods?...
because frm sleeves are more interesting for the heat exchange than classic sleeves.

ps: i showed my project here:
