Default EG AWSD (H22 turbo 4WD and 4WS)

this is my honda that I have over ten years and with whom I got to the polar circle (with a hook at the ESRA 2003 (european street rod association) in Denmark, at the time)
shine is fine but primer is finer, a pic of my civic:

the old engine was a darton MID B18C (sold): 720whp with water/alcohol injection

In 00', I made a 4WD civic with Lancia delta HF rear diff (the red civic) but it was unconfortable.

and put the 4WS was impossible (4WS box and rear diff are at the same place...)

Following the floods that I suffered this winter, the car has destroyed ...

I drive the blue civic with a stock B16A2 for a few monthes.
In the spring, when I started to get the lawn in place of the carpet that I was drunk.

the car ( the phoenix) must be totally rebuilded then improvements (bigger is better...). I decided to make a 4WD and 4WS civic with a H22. I will make all with an old arc welding post in my garden.

for the trains, I had those in this car:

I take the engine of this car:

Honda Accord Type R sold in France to 129 copies.
the engine:

version of the model R 212cv fact, the engine is prepared by hand at the factory (you can see the shots Dremel conduits in cylinder head, behind the valve.)
this engine is optimized for use air and I'm going to go turbo, I hesitate even to the fact of the rechemiser, I can not know whether the particular coating honda (FRM liner), different from nickasil can support the pressures of a turbo preparation.
this engine block is like a H22A4.
this engine interest me because it is very rare and that there are very few adaptables parts for it, which reinforces the interest that I do own my own.

share my experience with the civic 720cv on the front wheels drive, I know there are big problems motricity despite the fact that I set up an anti-skid electronics ( AEM EMS ).
I will switch to 4 wheel drive through the transmission of the CRV

and start:
home made intake manifold with my old edelbrock victor X with two fuel rails.

H2B QSD kit modified:

head-ported:

an idea of the tires:

with tein monoflex

I think next summer I will test on the 1/4 mile.
if I'm in the 12s, I am a little disappointed (but not too much as it would be my first experience in drag racing.)
if I'm in the 11s, we say that it is normal,
if I'm in the 10s, I will be happy,
if I'm in the 9s ........ no, it's a joke! : lol:
but hey, I also want to do something that have a good drivability, the 1/4 mile, it's just a leg into the goal being to have fun on circuit.

at this time, I make rear arms and rear transmission. it is hard but interesting.

boxed rear arms

symétrical?

rear disc are better than rear drums:

the engine under the hood:

i make this car occasionally (this job is the job of the last 6 months) but specifically, for me, the ultimate power is meaningless because it can vary from one set-up to another depending on the pressure.
and I want know what pressure sleeves can bear with or without block-guard.
who already has experience with this?
thank you.

omg I thought this would only be a dream... You are my hero! What I'd love to do is drop a j37 SH-AWD drivetrain from the 09 TL into an EG.

thank you.

I think I will keep stock engine for 10psi with a good basemap and i will sleeve later with darton flanged sleeves (perhaps on a closed-deck short block) with clutch, flywheel, the pressure plate, flywheel, crankshaft, and crankshaft pulley balanced for more boost after with JE pistons and then a good personnal basemap with this new engine.
good idea?

before pics. it was with the last 700whp engine in FWD. but there was too slide though large tires (245/35YR17) and torsen... :/

I am eager to try the new engine (bigger and torquer but no more horsepower) with the same wheels but with 4WD set-up

Nice set up.
But I doubt that the RT4WD drivetrain will hold 700hp.
A guy from here run 500hp and he broke 3 transmission I heard and weld the viscous coupler cause it always slip.
Now he run a renforced tranny housing and i'm waiting to see if its enough strong to do a similar renforcement.
But I'm still keeping the coupler cause my project will be a daily and I dont want tire dragging.
Keep it update

Sorry for my poor english i'm french to

Ya t'il des photos quelquepart du renforcement? Je suis dans une situation similaire, and j'ai des doutes concernant la caisse de transfert.

"Asking if there are any photos of the reinforcement, as I'm in a similar situation with doubts about the durability of the transfer case."
