Default vibrating noise

I am getting a vibrating noise when I am driving on anything but perfect smooth ashphalt. Speed doesn't matter and even the slightest bump like the ridges in the lane markings cause it.

It sounds like it is coming from the front left of my door or dashboard but it is hard to tell. It almost sounds like its coming from the speaker but it only makes this sound when moving never when at a stop. Also does it reguadless if the radio is on or off.

Any ideas? This is an 09 civic with less than 500 miles on it.

Similar problem, but the noise comes from the top rear of the drivers side door panal. The dealer has already replaced all the original clips and the noise is still there. When I have some free time, it's going back.

I believe there was a problem with rattly mirrors.

Welcome to the club man. These cars rattle EVERYWHERE! Had the same issues and dealership couldn't do anything about it. Have friends with civics too and they complain of similiar issues. I just got rid of my 2008 because I was sick of dealing with all the issues. Quality on these cars suck man.

The weird thing is my truck used to do the same thing only not as often. I could probably try using something to hold the mirror. Im thinking its the clips though.

I'll have to pester the dealer about it. You know how that goes though. Once you buy the car they don't want to know you.

Thats not my experience. I suggest going to a different dealership.

Just don't be annoying. Don't put altezzas or projectors on your 09 civic, and then showup for service claiming your taillights/headlights don't work.

Its not quite that bad. I mean they aren't sending me away or anything. The car just rolled over 1000 miles and is still 100% stock. Have a service appointment next week for them to look at it. Hopefully it is just a loose clip or something easy to fix.

Sometimes I just like it quiet with no radio and that noise will but the hell out of me on long drives.

Bump in case anyone has this same issue.

I finally figured out what the noise was. Even the dealership couldn't figure it out. Though I have a feeling all they did was drive the car around the block and park it for 30 mins and say they tightened some things.

It is actually the window/door controls. I can tap on it and it makes the exact same noise. Guess being mad and having to wait in bad traffic has its upside once in a while.

Is it because the bodies are so stiff these days?

I have noticed a lot of rattles in my new Si sedan, many of them coming from the driver's side and the driver's door.

My wife's Accord also rattles if you have the driver's window open. And let's not even talk about my Integra...
