wanna build my f22b2 engine....
wats up guys...i want to build my f22 engine a bit to be at least quick....
i was either gonna do short ram intake, headers, catback exhaust, put a vtec head, p12 or p28 chipped and tuned....and a lil more but idk what else to put...
or just bolt on an h22a head on the f22 block( heard this can happen)
i dont mind i just want to be quick enough to keep up with other cars and get a few friendly runs in......
what setup is good to be decent quick and a good daily....... im not looking for a swap really i just want a god reliable engine.....oo for u guys to kno i got 147k miles on the engine....

I know that your current stock setup is reliable as it can be until you start swapping heads, etc.
Go turbo if you want to be fast. Trust me, I/H/E will only make you crave for more whp. With a good tune, you have nothing to worry about but to keep up with your maintenance.

Easy there noob. You may want to take a look at the Accord FAQ's and look at the swap section. The H22 head does indeed bolt onto the F22a & B blocks. Yes there are oil ports that need to be plugged. All that info is available if you do a search.
soo all i gotta buy is the h22a head, oil ports and the head gasket and thats it?? it bolts right up? i tried the faq but he says he gonna do it but not that its done...
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-prelude-4/f22b2-block-h22a1-head-f22-vtec-f22b-vtec-776837/ you have to read the thread. He talks about the 2 oil drain passages that need to be blocked. Also talks about the VTEC head oil feed port that you need to remove the restriction plug from. There are a few other things that you are going to require.
It's not the cleanest thread but after you read past all the BS questions that people kept asking you can get all the information required to do an H22A1 head swap onto an F22B2 block. Then you need to wire the VTEC to a VTEC ECU. Wiring VTEC for a head swap is the same as wiring VTEC for an H22 swap into a non VTEC chassis.
