Just curious...who else has this happened to? (Wheel Bearing Issues)
It seem to be a common prob for the S2k
My rear left bearing went out...and needs replacing. 01 S2k with 80k miles...just regular spirited driving here and there...
Who else has had this happen? How to prevent it?

Well, if you dont install the axle nut, it will turn to **** real fast. Even if you did install it correctly, if it failed again within a week (vs. the 150k+ they usually last) then there is some other issue causing your problem that you failed to identify.

a lot of racers have problems with rear wheel bearing because of the heat from the rear brakes. rear brakes are usually hotter than the front because it's a solid disk.
So you guys that have gone through multiple wheel bearings, do you just replace them routinely, or have you fixed the issues that have caused them to fail?? I'm getting some noise from mine here recently.
This is exactly what I want to get at...
How to prevent it?
I really dont want to have to repair them often. It took mine 82k miles to go bad...just dont want to replace my right one soon...
BUMP!

Sorry for the NOOB question but what is TSB?
Does it refer to some recall...?? Should the dealership have replaced this at no cost? LOL
