I currently am in the process of bulding a sleeved motor and am not sure what brand of piston to go with. I was wondering if anyone here has any problems or advice on a specific brand. I know I need to run forged but sometimes not all forged pistons are equal in quality. I plan on a 84mm bore and LS crank if that makes a difference. And I am not to worried about the price I just want to do it right the first time! Looking for about 500whp on pump gas

I use Arias with great results. Pretty much all youll get is argument about CP vs Wiseco vs Arias vs JE all day long.

 

seen wiseco's with upgraded piston pins in a 800+ motor last for a long time. although t1 tuned it..

 

IMO if tuned right, there all comparable. I run CP's

 

i used wisecos because they're not as costly as CPs... im pretty sure an aftermarket forged piston is an aftermarket forged piston....
