my cars is acting funny
when i start it after letting it sit for the night it does not want to start
it turns over and has spark but it feels as if it is not getting any fuel
but then when it does after a couple of tries it starts up.
and it starts up fine afterwards even letting it sit for what would be a 8hr shift
but it does not happen all the time.
plus majority of the time the rpm is stuck at 1500 but drive it for a while and wow it works normally, the rpm i was thinking that the throttle is getting stuck but i checked and everything is fine also checked the throttle cable and that is fine as well what could these stupid probs be.
i mean it is not that bad to me and the cars still runs good

check your coolant level, its possible your headgasket is leaky and some coolant is getting into the cylinders and making it hard to start. would also explain strange idling.
if your coolant level is fien, look at the IACV and FITV. if you are gonna remove them, go to teh dealership and get new o rings before removal,a s they will need to be replaced if the motor has a lot of mileage
remove the IACV and/or FITV and spray with brake cleaner, also spray where they bolted to the throttlebody/intake manifold. let it dry for a few minutes, Id let it sit for 20 to be sure its dry.
search idle issues or idle problems here, there is a thread dedicated to helping people with that
