Changing setups. Give me input on this snail on LS..
Currently running a Y8 with rods/pistons on 12psi. Edelbrock turbo kit. I just got a smoking deal on a B18B1 shortblock and plan to assemble it using the rest of the parts in the garage. Anyways, I am considering keeping the Edelbrock kit and simply getting a B series manifold. I want to keep my A/C if possible. Turbo is a GT28 (so Edelbrock says) and seems to be good for about 17psi according to the maps on Garretts site. This turbo seems VERY good on the single cam, I was wondering if anyone could offer me input as to if it would be good for the B18B as well. I would like to see 300whp if possible, I'm not sure this turbo can support that however. Any input would be much appreciated.
