motor mount problem
i have a 96 b18b1 in my 92 dx hatch....well ive been through 3 busted mounts already.....and ive been reasearchin and i think its because my car used to be auto...but when i got the swap it was changed to standard...are u suppose to use that auto to manual tranny mount?? because the ppl that did my swap did a shitty job, now i want to get all new mounts, because my tranny one is busted and my right motor mount is busted causing my alternator belt to rub against my chasis sometimes when i turn...can anyone help me out that way i dont buy the wrong mounts and i get this **** fixed right this time
i know the answer to this question ;-)
keep scrolling...
people who hack in B18 swaps in civics usualy dont use the a/c bracket mount and the other one on the tranny that goes under the frame rails... that makes the engine rock back and forth excessively causing broken mounts....

well when i got the swap done, i didnt kno much about motors, so they took advantage of that....and ur right it doesnt have any bracket on the front bottom of the tranny....so wat mounts should i buy?? the stock ones, and do i need the manual to conversion one for the top of the tranny?? and also where can i find that bracket at that they left off?? man i wish i wouldve researched a lot more before i jumped into this **** lol
i wanna order these mounts by this weekend so i can get them put in by next weekend...so if anyone can tell me whether i need that auto to manual mount or not, so i can go ahead and place the order
i have the 3 bolt tranny mount you need... you need a B18 A/C bracket as well which i dont have. then you need the rubber mounts that bolt up to under the frame rails. PM me if you want to buy my tranny mount. ill sell it cheap ;-)
