Default Springs vs. Coilovers??

I own a 2000 SH and was wondering what the best setup is for under $400. Atleast 2.5 inch drop and a smooth ride and improved handling.
THANKS

Shock and Spring, Tokico Blue $300 and Neuspeed Race $129. Its alittle bit over $400 but its okay setup..

i doubt u'll get too much comfort with a 2.5 drop on springs or faux-coil-overs.
i'd look into true coil-overs for yer applicatio. read: TEIN

i wouldn't go that low if you want a smooth ride.

you'll wreck your tires, you'll wreck your CV boots and joints, you'll scrape everywhere especially with a body kit or exhaust.

get a nice 1.7" drop with H&R's. You'll need a camber kit eventually with that and some shocks, but if you're trying to stay around 400 bucks, you'll last at least 1.5 - 2 yrs on stock shocks and tires.
