if i were you i'd prob just use stock cam gears also, just to eliminate potential problems. stock works great (and i think you need a degree wheel for adj cams)

if you have an alarm its pretty difficult to get the turbo timer to work
in the past 3 years i havent used a turbo timer in any of my cars.
i drive it.. and i park it i dont let my car sit there and cool down unless i been really ripping on it

i had a timer on my last boosted teg. It worked fine. I just assumed that it is kinda important to let the oil cool out before cutting power. I got one for 30 bones so I am going to use it anyway.
And I thought that the cam gears were useful to tune out overlap. How could they be a hazzard/useless/waste of money if most of the really tuned setups I see have them?
speaking of a tune...I'm hoping you get one immediately and don't rely on that basemap.
Just a suggestion, if you already didn't plan it. Have fun, sounds like a good setup

i don't have any of the "hazzard/useless/waste" parts. And i don't have an issue. I also have stock camgears. I had AEM and the bolts came loose and skipped timeing on my last set up.
it depends on how you drive. if your pushing your car let it cool, but if your just puttn' around town driving there shouldn't be a reason to worry
good on a setup that flows and doenst have a lot of backpressure
cast style manifold ? u got a lot of backpressure anyways with that setup
