overheating with ac on?
ok so when i drive with my ac on my car overheats when i come to a stop and when i drive without it, it is fine anyone have any clue to what this could be?
yes it does and i have changed my thermostat twice already thinking it was that and yeah it does only happen at a stop and i just changed my condenser fan
It's possible that the condenser pulley is bad, or the AC belt is too tight. If there's too much strain on the engine when the AC is turned on and your stopped, it could cause an excessive production of heat as the engine works harder, if the engines working hard, you should be moving, but if it's working hard while stopped, the cooling system may not be able to compensate for the extra heat produced without the rush of cold air your radiator see's while driving. Just an idea, but I hope this helps!

Yup, if you have air pockets in your cooling system it could cause an overheating problem. and your sure your fan is working correctly? You said it was switching on but I mean your sure it's comming on with the full amount of power it needs? Water pump is working? Radiator cap is releaving pressure when it's supposed to??
