My diaphragm was separated from the aluminum piece that attaches to the stem. I am going to order a new one. I was wondering if you have to use an adhesive to attach the diaphragm to the bottom housing? Thanks

 

I never use adhesive. I thought the pressure would keep it where it needs to be

I didn't see any adhesive on my old one, but I couldn't get it to stay in place after I removed it. Thanks for the replies.

TiAL, is it possible to buy a 38mm old style cast housing alone? mine is warped and the valve wont close
