Default Synapse WG service

Bought a used synapse Wastegate and noticed that the top piece that houses the springs was loose where it attached to the bottom valve housing. I took it apart and saw that the 3 bolts holding the pieces together were loose. I took them out and clean the whole Wastegate. My question now is, does anyone know what grade of grease I would need to use to replace the previous grease for proper lubrication of the valve assembly.

I used green high temp loctite for the screws. It's the lube for the valve that I'm inquiring about. Synapse wastegates don't use diaphragms.

You'll want some ultra high temp grease - those temperatures can get pretty intense. Maybe try calling Synapse and ask specifically what grease they recommend would be a good idea? You could look around for some 2000* grease, but that stuff is pricy as hell.

I'm no pro, and I don't know for sure, but going from this article from Turbosmart, and this interview with a Turbosmart tech who says...

The bodies of our wastegate range can handle a continuous 900 degrees centigrade (1650ºF) while the actuator housing can handle up to 260 degrees centigrade (500ºF) for brief periods of time.
Emphasis mine. If it's constructed for up to 1650ºF, then safe bet you should use lube that can also handle that temperature.
