Default will not stay on...sometimes though.

I have noticed my hatch wit b16 will not stay on after I shut it off unless its sat there for awhile. Why will it not stay on? It seems like its fine at first then it will just sputter and die. It will turn back on after about 3-4 times of trying. Any ideas?
One more thing. HOw come I can make the rpms rise when I step on the brakes?

the rpms rise thing is because the ecu is adjusting the idle to turn the alternator up for the extra energy consumption from your brake lights. try some fuel injector cleaner.

speaking of gas cap. When my tank is on e, and i go fill up, air comes out when i open the gas cap. I know that is not supposed to happen. And the car stayed on today. It would start up then fall to almost 400 rpm then stay around 800rpm. Any similar problems?

Are you saying that you start the car up, it turns over and when you release the key it shuts off? If so I'd say ignition switch.

The pressure buildup in your tank is normal. That will happen all the time.
The other problems...main relay maybe? Is it only when the car is hot?

Yeah. It only does it when its hot. It will turn on normally then just shake a little and die. After waiting a bit and giving it some gas it will stay on. My ladys 93 integra does the same thing and hers is all stock.
