Best Vtec controller location

Hey fellas, I'm putting in a VAFC in my car and was thinking where is the best spot for the controller. I'm thinking right above the shifter base or maybe in-between tach and speedo. Any other suggestions?

in glove box so when car is parked you can hide it and no one walking by sees it and then you get ripped off.
