Default Antenna block off

hey so i bought the 4dr from my buddy, he had purchased an eg antenna block off so i went to install it and it didnt seem to fit right is there a different one for the 4drs or is there a special way to install

how didnt it fit right? like the screw holes didnt match up?

lol there should be 2 screws you use and the rubber thing for a gasket kinda thing

the holes didnt match up, one did and the other didnt. and when i went to align it with the other hole the same happened to the other side?

There's one for the EG, one for the Del Sol and I think maybe one for the EK?

You should have part number 39152-SR3-A00

You have to remove the antenna completely as a unit then use the rubber gasket under the block off plate.

Just did it, so I know.

the eg/ek are the same but the delsol's are different i think.

i don't see how it will not fit. eg and ek's are the same, hatch, coupe or 4 door pimpin.

thats what i have and its seems different, i might just have to figure a way out to make it line up. Not sure how thats going to work

ok well it turns out that i have the right part but the previous owner fixed the rust that was happening under the antenna and put a different antenna on it so im going to have to drill and tap it in order for it to work, god this is going to suck!

Have you thought of going to a junkyard, find the same model/year Honda as yours, take the antenna off that one, replace it, and then see where your stand point is? For a used antenna unit that's not going to cost more than $10-$20, you might as well use that small portion of money and then see.

its not about the antenna its about the block off plate that im going to be installing. Ill see what happens with this
