i want to swap out my 91 sedan seats for somthing thats more "bucket" wise. somethin that holds u in the car better. will crx seats fit? ive got a set of DA seats? info on what will fit and what will not?

 

its not as much about the seat as it is about the bracket. most seats should fit, if you use your stock brackets.

 

so jus bolt my brackets on to other seats? i dont think its that simple, is it?!

 

i can make any seats u have fit into ur sedan without welding.. just need ur stock seats nd rails nd the seats of choice..
i do it cheap!!

 

ugh it's been covered multiple times. seat pan swap is the only real way to make any seats that aren't stock fit properly in your car. yes you can drill holes into the floor pan and use bolts but it's tacky the seats wont fit properly it will look like garbage and they'll just rip out of the floor.

 

uh i wasnt talking about that i was taking about taking the seat apart nd swappin out the pans themselves..no cutting, drilling, or screwing nething in where it doesnt belong.. i swap out entire pans.. i did it to gsr leathers in my crx..

 

basically, it is. depending on the seat/bracket combo you decide to use. do some more reasearch, but it should be pretty straight forward

the ezest swap is 90-91 hatch seats. they will fit 88-91 sedan seats if you swap the rails. the sedan seat rails will bolt to the hatch seat pans. so id sugest finding a set of 90-91 civic si seats for comfort and ez installtion. i had 91 si seats in both my 91 sedan and my 89.
