it's a 98 civic dx ek hatch.

when i'm driving the passenger side (towards the front i believe) makes a very weird and high pitched clinking sound.

maybe even as if it were a very small spring of some sort?

no idea what it could be? car is lowered sitting on h&r's and koni yellows if it matters.

doesn't seem to be rubbing anything and when i turn the wheel it doesn't stop or get louder stays constant.

but generally it's on an off, on for 30 seconds off for 30 seconds. and its annoying!

 

Is the noise possibly the brake wear indicator? Have you checked for pad wear?

 

NO I HAVEN'T!

but i don't pull to either side when i brake, i'll check them tho brb.

 

may be your cv as well...

 

does it click when u turn? if so bad cv's buddy...

 

did this just happen or did it arise after you changed out/worked on some part of the car?

 

see if you dust shield is hitting the rotor. that happened in my eg8

 

its nothing mechanical, seems to be something clattering around in my dashboard lol.

maybe around my a/f meter area or my radio or something... i'll check it out later.
