Default Evap wire. B16a going into 97 civic ex auto.

This is my first swap. I have a complete swap out of a 00 si. I notice when i took out the automatic d16 that it had an extra senser for the evap canistar. I have searched the forum but no one has followed up with a solution of either using the si harness and ecu or just going with the 96 98 civic harness. Im not worried bout emissions but this will be my daily and i want a reliable setup that without cel popping up. Oh and the si harness doesnt have the extra plug for the driver side harness by the clutch reservoir. Any help i would appreciate.

Does anyone know if the si ecu and harness will work with the 96 00 civc.

You must use a '96 - '98 harness in a '96 - '98 civic and a '99 - '00 harness in a '99 - '00 civic unless you also swap the corresponding interior underdash harness as well.

Sorta, if its an EX automatic harness you will have to perform the "IACV fix" shown below

Possibly the IAT sensor, can't think of anything else off hand, basically anything that doesn't reach to where it needs to go. The best thing to do is test fit the engine harness with the engine on the floor or on an engine stand to see what needs to be modified.
