ok so i got a 89 civic hatch and i drove it for maybe 3 days. one day i drove it and it died so i pop started it and it was fine. then i turned the car off again and it wouldnt start again. so i just took the car home and now it hasnt started since then.

when i turn the key to the on position NOTHING happens, no dash lights, no fuel pump, nothing. when i try to jump the car the dash lights and fuel pump will come on but just click when i try to start it. then all the lights and fuel pump will go back off and not come back on.

i checked the grounds, ive changed the battery, ive changed the starter. i just changed the MAIN RELAY but now the battery is dead cause someone left the lights on so im not sure if the main relay was the problem.

but if anyone has any idea of what it could be let me know cause my car has been broke for more than a week and i kinda need it running.

another thing is there is these 2 wires sticking out of under where the ignition is and they have long metal pieces on the ends of them???? idk what they do. ive seen them on a crx at the junk yard but they were in a little black box and the metal parts were touching. the ones on my car arent touching. could this be why the car isnt starting??

it was the main relay.
