Default Trans issue

Car- 00 ITR, stock trans just ACT clutch

The trans will sometimes go into 5th, but not usually; and reverse seems like it doesn't exist anymore. The trans did start making a rattling noise sounding like a throwout bearing kind of, but I'm also thinking the shifter was placed in between reverse and 5th and someone pushed it up or down and bent something; my question is - what could be bent if so?

You definitely need a throwout bearing.

How is the fluid level in the Clutch MC reservoir?

Other possibilities, shifter bushings, motor mounts, and clutch pedal adjustment.

Possible bent shift fork, given it's happening in 2, 3 and R.

Agree'd on the bearing

If it is popping out of gear, I would check the engine and trans mounts.

I am having a very similar issue. Mine doesnt pop-out of gear but I cannot shift it into gear unless I shut the car off and put it in first or reverse. Getting it into the other gears requires more effort. In trying different thing I learned that if I shut my car off and let it sit for 30 or more seconds and restart it will be fine again for a little while. Please any info would be great.. Thanks guys
